MONQ personal aromatherapy diffusers

Today I have something really awesome to share with you that I randomly came across one day – PERSONAL essential oil diffusers! I can’t tell you how intrigued and excited I was to try these.

MONQ Personal Essential Oil Diffuser Review

One of the first things I like about MONQ, is they take pride in sourcing their plant materials and essential oils from high-quality producers like Mountain Rose Herbs and Eden Botanicals. The essential oils used are certified organic through Oregon-Tilth and the plant materials are all processed in the US, are non-GMO, and sustainably harvested. They contain no nicotine or artificial ingredients.

These personal diffusers are sleek, high quality, and offer an amazing boost for energy, sleep, positive mood, relaxation, health, and wellbeing.

MONQ has 7 different diffusers, each with a synergistic blend of essential oils that personalize your aromatherapy anytime, anywhere.

I’ve tried the Zen, Happy, and Sleepy blends and each has been so relaxing to use and effective for enhancing a positive mood, allowing me to de-stress, as well as support restful sleep. I absolutely love these blends and will definitely be trying the others.

MONQ

The seven blends include:

1. Active

Active MONQ contains orange, sage, and black pepper as its main three essential oils along with allspice, anise, bitter orange, copaiba, frankincense, lemon, mandarin, and spearmint.
The EOs in the blend supports a cheerful attitude, mental clarity, and boost energy levels to keep you productive throughout your day.

Use it when you feel the 3 o’ clock slump coming on, while working on a project that requires careful attention, or just when you need a mental pick-me-up. This is a blend that’s next on my list!

2. Happy

Happy MONQ contains fennel, thyme, and vanilla as well as caraway, clary sage, lavender, mandarin, marjoram, parsley seed, and petitgrain.

The mandarin in this blend boosts positivity while the lavender, vanilla, and clary sage reduce stress and feelings of overwhelm, anger, and frustration. Thyme improves your attention span, calms nervousness, and reduces irritable feelings. Fennel is a great essential oil for grounding yourself and dispelling negativity.

Use this blend when you feel sad, angry, or negative in any way to help bring in more positivity and calm.

This blend is tasty and fun to use! Definitely a great blend for overall positivity 🙂

Happy MONQ

3. Healthy

Healthy MONQ contains turmeric, marjoram, and cinnamon leaf as well as basil, caraway, copaiba, dill seed, lemon, and mandarin.

The oils in this blend all correlate with supporting your body and sense of wellbeing. The citrus oils keep your mood bright and positive while the others keep physical discomfort at bay. The copaiba is especially great in this blend as it amplifies the benefits and properties of other essential oils.

Use this blend before or after exercise and during times of physical discomfort.

4. Sexy

Sexy MONQ contains patchouli, jasmine, and lime as well as allspice, caraway, cinnamon leaf, copaiba, lavender, lemon, manuka, orange, vanilla, and ylang ylang essential oils.

These oils are all considered mood enhancers and aphrodisiacs. Need I say more?

5. Sleepy

Sleepy MONQ contains lavender, lemongrass, and valerian as well as copaiba, mandarin, petitgrain, and tarragon essential oils.

I can definitely vouch for the effectiveness of this blend and it’s probably my favorite one so far. The valerian and lavender whisk you off to sleep while the other oils in this blend dispel over-thinking and worry and in their place fill you with calm and relaxation.

I often use this blend while reading before bedtime to help induce restful sleep. It works!

Sleepy MONQ

6. Vibrant

Vibrant MONQ contains lemon, ginger, and spearmint as well as basil, bergamot, bitter orange, black pepper, caraway, clary sage, copaiba, dill seed, fennel, geranium, hyssop, orange, oregano, parsley seed, peppermint, rosemary, and sage. WHEW!

This blend is chock full of vibrant goodness! These oils are stimulating, relieve stress, improve concentration and attention, are revitalizing, energizing, and refreshing.

Use this blend as your daily pick-me-up when you need a new spring in your step and a positive outlook on life. This is another blend I’m eager to try.

7. Zen

Zen MONQ contains frankincense, orange, and ylang ylang as well as bitter orange, black pepper, clary sage, dill seed, eucalyptus, lemon, rosemary, spearmint, tea tree, and sage.

The oils in this blend create a sense of calm, wellbeing, and relaxation. The rosemary is especially great for lowering cortisol levels and feelings of stress. Frankincense opens your third eye for a more spiritual experience.

Use this blend when you feel overworked, during meditation, or just when you need a bit of zen in your day. I really enjoy this blend when I need a mental break from blogging all day and it’s perfect for relaxation without a foggy mind.

Zen MONQ

How to Use a MONQ Personal Essential Oil Diffuser

MONQ diffusers contain 20% organic essential oils and 80% soy-based vegetable glycerin to give you a balanced and smooth experience. If you’re allergic to soy, you may want to steer clear but for the rest of us, this is how to use them properly:

1. Press your lips to the end with the small circular opening.
2. Breath in through your mouth, and slowly out your nose. DO NOT inhale the mist into your lungs as it can be uncomfortable.
3. Take 2-3 slow gentle breaths 1-2 times a day as needed.

How Does a MONQ Personal Essential Oil Diffuser Work?

Since you don’t inhale the oils into your lungs, the oils are fully absorbed in the sinuses where their therapeutic qualities get to work on your olfactory nerve endings.

In the few minutes after use, the essential oils have entered the bloodstream, spreading their positive vibrations and healing qualities throughout your body. Their scent alone stimulates your brain and changes your mood. Depending on the blend you used, those qualities will be different and more focused on certain needs like sleep, feeling more active, or needing help to relax.

How Long do MONQ Personal Diffusers Last?

This, of course, depends on how often and how deeply you breathe them into your mouth while using them. Generally, a MONQ personal diffuser should last anywhere from 200-250 breaths which is about 3-4 weeks.
